Defender David Alaba tops the exit list. The 33-year-old Austrian’s contract expires this summer, and Madrid will not offer a renewal.

Fellow defenders Antonio Rudiger and Dani Carvajal are also set to leave as their contracts expire.

Midfielder Eduardo Camavinga could be the most surprising departure. Madrid will consider offers of at least €50 million (£43.2m) for the 23-year-old, who has drawn interest across Europe.

Left-backs Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia, mostly used as backups to Alvaro Carreras, are not expected to feature in future plans.
