Senator Mudashiru Husain mourns Olubisi Odewumi, a respected All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Ife North Local Government of Osun State, describing his passing as a rude shock and a painful loss to the progressive family.

In his condolence message, the leading APC gubernatorial aspirant expressed profound grief, noting that Odewumi’s death leaves a great vacuum in the struggle to advance humanity and community development.

The former lawmaker who represented Osun West Senatorial District and erstwhile NPC federal commissioner praised the deceased for living a life of service.

He said Odewumi dedicated his energy to the growth of his community, while also being a staunch and loyal party man whose contributions to the APC were unmatched.

“As a matter of fact, the loss is difficult to comprehend. We, however, take succour in the indelible impacts he made and the legacy of dedication he left behind,” Senator Husain said.

He extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the APC leadership and members in Ife North, and the wider Osun progressive family.
