Kroos ended his playing career after the 2024 European Championship and has since focused on developing the Toni Kroos Academy, which was launched in September 2024.

Real Madrid are said to be keen on integrating the former midfielder into their long-term sporting project, with responsibilities expected to mirror advisory pathways previously taken by club legends.

The role being considered is similar to the early post-playing involvement of Zinedine Zidane, who initially served in an advisory capacity before later becoming head coach of the first team.

Kroos enjoyed a highly successful spell at Real Madrid, winning multiple domestic and European titles and becoming a key figure in one of the club’s most dominant eras.

Discussions remain ongoing, and no formal agreement has been announced, but the potential move is already generating excitement among supporters.

If finalised, the return would see Kroos rejoin the club in a non-playing role, contributing experience and insight to Madrid’s sporting structure.
