Afrobeat superstar Davido clinched the Best Digital Artiste of the Year award at the 17th annual Headies Awards for his significant online influence

Award-winning Afrobeat icon, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has been honoured with the Best Digital Artiste of the Year award at the 17th edition of the Headies Awards.

The Headies Awards, a prestigious event that celebrates excellence within the Nigerian music industry, held its 17th annual ceremony on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos.

The event was a star-studded affair, featuring captivating performances and acknowledging the achievements of top artists.

While Davido’s collaborative track, “Ogechi Remix,” received multiple nominations, it was his overall digital presence and influence that earned him the Best Digital Artiste title.
