PDP expulsion demand has gained momentum after former Jigawa State governor Sule Lamido urged the party’s leadership to expel Minister of the FCT Nyesom Wike, former Benue governor Samuel Ortom, and former Abia governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

He accused them of anti-party activities for openly campaigning for the APC in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Lamido described the trio as “platform seekers” who prioritize personal ambitions over party loyalty.

He condemned their support for APC as a betrayal and called for strict enforcement of the PDP constitution to sanction such members.

Lamido expressed frustration at the party’s tolerance of impunity since the 2022 primaries and vowed to boycott the PDP Board of Trustees meetings until decisive action is taken against erring members.
