UNIBEN Post-UTME 2025 results are now out. Candidates scoring 50%+ are eligible, but ‘Not Admitted’ status should be disregarded for now

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has officially released the results of its 2025 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise, allowing candidates to now access their scores via the UNIBEN portal.

The announcement was made on Tuesday by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Dr. Benedicta Ehanire, through a statement distributed to the News Agency of Nigeria in Benin City.

Amid concerns raised by applicants, Ehanire addressed the “Not Admitted” message currently showing on some candidate slips.

“Candidates are advised to disregard the ‘Not Admitted’ status appearing on their slips,” she clarified.
“The admission process has only just commenced and will run until October 31, in line with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) schedule.”

The university disclosed that all candidates who scored 50% and above in the screening exercise are eligible for consideration, pending final guidelines and departmental cut-offs.

“Further details on the admission process will be released in due course,” Ehanire added.

Candidates are advised to:

• Log into the [UNIBEN student portal](https://uniben.waeup.org) regularly.
•  Watch out for updated admission lists between now and October 31, 2025.
•  Avoid relying on third-party information or unofficial platforms.
