Super Eagles goals Europe highlight Ademola Lookman, Peter Olayinka, Alex Iwobi, Paul Onuachu, and others across top European leagues this weekend

Super Eagles stars produced a series of standout performances across Europe over the weekend, with several players scoring and assisting crucial goals.

In Turkey, Paul Onuachu continued his prolific season with his 17th goal for Trabzonspor, helping his side to a 2–1 comeback win over Gaziantep.

Wilfred Ndidi marked his return to Besiktas’ starting lineup with a goal in their 4–0 victory against Goztepe, also receiving a booking in the 15th minute.

In England, Alex Iwobi scored his third league goal of the season for Fulham and provided his third assist as the Cottagers ended a three-game losing streak with a 3–1 win over Sunderland.

Calvin Bassey made his second start of the year, while Samuel Chukwueze missed the match through injury.

Crystal Palace edged Wolves 1–0, with Tolu Arokodare missing a first-half penalty.

Ola Aina featured for Nottingham Forest, who lost 1–0 to Liverpool, with Alexis Mac Allister scoring a stoppage-time winner. Taiwo Awoniyi remained sidelined.

Cyprus witnessed Peter Olayinka scoring his first goal for APOEL since joining in January.

Coming on in the 71st minute, he netted the winner ten minutes later, marking his first goal since October 2025 with Red Star Belgrade.

Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho remained out of Omonia’s starting XI in their 1–0 defeat to APOEL.

Elsewhere in Europe, Chidozie Awaziem played the full 90 minutes as Nantes beat Le Havre 2–0 in France.

In Spain, Akor Adams provided the decisive assist for Sevilla’s 1–0 win over Getafe, while Chidera Ejuke narrowly missed a second goal. Umar Sadiq started for Valencia in their clash with Villarreal.

In Portugal, Zaidu Sanusi retained his place for Porto against Rio Ave, with Terem Moffi coming off the bench.
