Osimhen’s pregnant partner, Stefanie Kim Ladewig, escapes injury in a three-vehicle crash in Istanbul and is discharged after medical checks

Stefanie Kim Ladewig, the eight-month pregnant partner of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, has escaped injury following a three-vehicle crash in Istanbul, Türkiye.

The 26-year-old model was taken to a private hospital for precautionary medical examinations because of her pregnancy but was later discharged after being found to be in good condition, according to reports by Türkiye Today and the Demirören News Agency (DHA).

The accident occurred at about 3:10 pm on Tuesday, October 13, in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district.

According to DHA, Ladewig was driving an SUV when she entered a bend and collided with a light commercial vehicle driven by a person identified as Paris T.

The impact reportedly caused her to lose control of the vehicle, which then struck another SUV travelling in the opposite direction.

The collision involved two SUVs and a light commercial vehicle. All three vehicles sustained damage, but no injuries were reported.

Following the crash, Ladewig reportedly went to a private hospital in the Maslak area of Istanbul’s Sariyer district for medical examinations.

The checks were conducted as a precaution because she was eight months pregnant at the time of the incident.

She was subsequently discharged after the examinations, with reports indicating that she was in good condition.

Ladewig, who was born in Berlin, Germany, works as a model and shares fashion and beauty content on social media, according to Türkiye Today.

Her partner, Osimhen, 27, is a Nigerian international striker who plays for Turkish club Galatasaray and represents the Super Eagles.

The couple were pictured together at the AIC Oscar del Calcio Awards in 2023.

The crash comes as Osimhen continues his football career in Türkiye. No injuries were reported among those involved in the collision, according to the cited reports.
