England winger Noni Madueke has identified Nigeria international Ola Aina as the toughest defender he has faced in his career.

Aina, who started his professional career at Chelsea F.C., has become a key figure for Nottingham Forest F.C. since joining in 2023.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Madueke praised Aina’s strength and consistency.

“I’ve played against him a couple of times, and he’s always tough,” Madueke said. “He’s incredibly strong and very physical, but he’s also comfortable on the ball. I don’t think people always give him enough credit for that.”
