ISWAP terrorists attacked the Garahamojili Nigerian Army camp in Adamawa State, killing two soldiers, destroying vehicles, and seizing weapons during a 20-minute assault

Two Nigerian Army soldiers were killed after ISWAP insurgents attacked the Garahamojili military camp in Adamawa State on Tuesday, local security sources reported.

According to Sahel security expert Brant Philip, the assault lasted approximately 20 minutes. During the attack, the insurgents overran the camp, set it on fire, and destroyed three military vehicles. Weapons and ammunition were reportedly seized.

ISWAP claimed the attack as part of its recently launched “Burn the Camps” offensive. This marks the first time the group has targeted a Nigerian Army camp in Adamawa State.
