Nigeria National League side Rovers FC has been involved in a road accident near Asaba on Tuesday while travelling to Lagos for a rescheduled league fixture against Sporting Lagos.

The Rovers FC Road crash reportedly occurred as the team made its journey to the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, where the match was scheduled to take place on Wednesday.

According to the club’s management, several players, officials and staff sustained injuries in the incident.
