Kun Khalifat FC side has lauded its emerging talents Ajibola Emmanuel and Nnorom Mmesoma for their decisive contributions in the club’s ongoing battle for survival in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

FC face crucial NPFL relegation survival test effort received a timely lift on Sunday after Mmesoma scored in a crucial 2–1 victory over Kano Pillars at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, a result that significantly improved the club’s position on the league table.

The win moved the Owerri-based side up to 17th place, keeping their hopes of avoiding relegation alive as the season approaches its final stages.

In a statement shared on social media, the club described Emmanuel and Mmesoma as “wonder kids” whose performances have been instrumental in the team’s fight for safety.

“Ajibola Emmanuel and Nnorom Mmesoma, our wonder kids, keep doing the impossible,” the club wrote, highlighting their growing influence within the squad.

With two matches remaining, Kun Khalifat FC will next face Abia Warriors and Wikki Tourists in what are expected to be decisive fixtures in their survival campaign.
