Liverpool manager Arne Slot has given his assessment on the Premier League title race, stating that Arsenal are likely to emerge champions ahead of Manchester City.

Arne slot supports Arsenal’s Premier League title push came during his pre-match press conference on Thursday ahead of Liverpool’s league fixture against Aston Villa on Friday.

Arsenal currently sit two points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, with just two matches remaining in the season.

Slot said Arsenal’s strong defensive organisation and ability to operate effectively in deep defensive phases could be decisive in the title race.

“The team that is going to win the league, at least I assume, I think Arsenal is going to win the league,” he said.

He further explained that Arsenal’s discipline in low-block situations has made them difficult to break down, which he believes gives them an edge in the final run-in.
