Super Eagles 2027 AFCON qualifiers fixture sees Nigeria face Madagascar, Guinea-Bissau and Tanzania in a demanding qualifying campaign

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will begin their qualification campaign for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations against Madagascar, setting the stage for a challenging Group stage run, according to fixtures released on Wednesday.

Eagles 2027 for AFCON preliminary matches schedule shows that Éric Chelle’s side will host Madagascar at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, 26 September, as they aim to secure a strong start on home soil.

Nigeria will then travel to face Guinea-Bissau three days later in their second match, as the team looks to build early momentum in the qualification series.

The group also includes Tanzania, with the Super Eagles scheduled to face the Taifa Stars in a double-header encounter. Nigeria will play away in Dar es Salaam before hosting the East African side in Uyo on 11 November.

The qualification campaign will conclude in March 2027, with Nigeria set to face Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau in home and away fixtures that could determine their fate in the tournament race.
