Manchester United confirm pre-season fixtures including AC Milan clash in Poland as part of a five-country European tour ahead of 2026–27 season

Manchester United have confirmed a packed pre-season schedule that will conclude with a high-profile friendly against AC Milan in Wrocław, Poland, as preparations intensify for the 2026–27 campaign.

The announcement was made on Tuesday, with the club outlining a five-country tour designed to build fitness, sharpen tactics, and strengthen global fan engagement ahead of the new season.

The Man United pre-season 2026 fixtures reflects the club’s busy schedule, which spans several major European cities and high-profile opponents.

United will begin their pre-season against Wrexham in Helsinki on 18 July before travelling to Trondheim to face Rosenborg.

They will then compete in Sweden, taking on Atlético Madrid in the Snapdragon Cup in Stockholm on 1 August, followed by a fixture against Paris Saint-Germain in Gothenburg one week later.

The team will also face Leeds United in Dublin on 12 August before rounding off their preparations against AC Milan three days later.

Club director of football Jason Wilcox described the schedule as a valuable opportunity for preparation and global engagement.

He said the fixtures across six cities would help the squad build momentum ahead of the new season while also allowing supporters across Europe to connect with the team.

The club continues to operate under manager Michael Carrick, who is expected to use the pre-season tour to assess squad depth and integrate new tactical ideas.
