Sevilla places €30m valuation on Nigerian striker Akor Adams as Saudi clubs express interest following his standout AFCON 2025 performances

La Liga club Sevilla have set a €30 million price tag on Nigerian striker Akor Adams amid mounting interest from Saudi Pro League clubs, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

The 25-year-old forward joined Sevilla from Montpellier just over a year ago for €5.5 million, but his stock has risen sharply, particularly after his performances at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where he was a key figure in Nigeria’s squad.

Spanish outlet Fichajes reports that several clubs in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere have expressed interest in Adams, prompting Sevilla to significantly increase his valuation.

However, the club has indicated it is in no rush to sell, and Adams himself has expressed contentment at Sevilla.

“I’m not in a hurry to move. I’m in love with where I am now and they are treating me well,” Adams told Adanimogo FM during the AFCON in Morocco.

Sevilla, seven-time Europa League winners, are reportedly considering financial balancing measures that could involve selling key players if attractive offers arise.

Ficherio has suggested that the club could target Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri, currently at Fenerbahçe, as a contingency should Adams depart.

En-Nesyri, who moved to Turkey for €19.5 million in summer 2024, is reportedly seeking a transfer before the end of the January window.

Despite interest from abroad, Adams appears to favour a move to a larger European club in the future, while Sevilla aim to protect their financial stability.

Since returning from AFCON 2025, where he scored two goals and provided two assists—including a composed strike against Algeria ranked among the tournament’s top five—Adams has netted three goals in two league matches, bringing his season tally to six goals and two assists in 16 appearances.
