Premier League legend Alan Shearer has predicted the next career move of Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola as speculation grows over his possible departure from the club this summer.

Alan Shearer predicts Pep Guardiola future comments came amid increasing reports that the Spaniard could be preparing to leave Manchester City after a decade in charge, with the final Premier League game against Aston Villa on Sunday expected to mark the end of an era.

Shearer suggested that Guardiola may take a break from football management before returning to the dugout, potentially in international football, following years of intense success and pressure in the English top flight.

According to the former England striker, international management could present a different kind of challenge for Pep Guardiola, who has previously been linked with roles such as the Brazil national team job.

He noted that after such a demanding spell at Manchester City, the 55-year-old may prefer time away from club football before deciding on his next step in the game.
