Arsenal injury news Atletico Madrid semi-final update showed that captain Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber, and Mikel Merino were all absent from the open training session.

Manager Mikel Arteta had earlier expressed optimism that Odegaard and Havertz could feature against the LaLiga side following Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Fulham at the weekend.

However, both players were not spotted during preparations, raising doubts over their availability for the crucial European tie.
