Beth Mead confirms Arsenal exit after nine seasons, ending a successful spell that included six major trophies

Beth Mead has confirmed she will leave Arsenal Women at the end of the current season, bringing an emotional end to a nine-year spell with the club.

Beth Mead confirms Arsenal exit, announcement comes as her contract expires this summer, marking the conclusion of a highly successful period in which she helped the club secure six major trophies, including the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Mead, who has made 258 appearances and scored 83 goals for the Gunners, departs as one of the most influential figures in the club’s recent history.

The England international has recently been linked with a potential move to Manchester City, where her partner and former Arsenal teammate Vivianne Miedema currently plays.

Her departure adds to a series of exits at the club, with Arsenal also confirming that Laia Codina and Victoria Pelova will leave at the end of the season.
