Ajax, Napoli, and Benfica face possible Champions League elimination as the league stage concludes, with final matches critical for qualification

Ajax currently sit 32nd on the 36-team table with six points, giving them a slim chance of progressing.

The Dutch side host Olympiakos in a crucial fixture at home.

Napoli are just outside the automatic qualification zone in 25th place with eight points and will host Chelsea in their final group-stage match.

Benfica, managed by Jose Mourinho, occupy 29th position and welcome Real Madrid, needing a win to improve their qualification prospects.

The tournament format sees the top eight teams qualify automatically for the last 16.

Teams ranked ninth to 24th enter a two-legged play-off to secure a spot in the knockout rounds, while the bottom 12 teams are eliminated.

So far, Kairat Almaty, Eintracht Frankfurt, Villarreal, and Slavia Prague have officially been knocked out of the competition.
