Chelsea’s Record-Setting Low in Brighton Defeat was confirmed after goals from Danny Welbeck, Jack Hinshelwood, and Ferdi Kadioglu secured a comfortable win for Brighton at the Amex Stadium.

According to OptaJoe, Chelsea have now lost five consecutive league matches without scoring a goal, marking their worst such run since November 1912.

The defeat leaves the London club in seventh place in the Premier League table, behind Brighton, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Arsenal in a tightly contested race for European qualification.
