“I made every single mistake my father made,” Clarence confessed. “The moment I realised that, I forgave him instantly—even before we had a conversation. That was 2014/15. That was when I began my journey into adulthood.”

The son of Shina Peters and veteran actress Clarion Chukwura, Clarence has often spoken about the complexities of growing up in the public eye. He described how his parents’ tumultuous relationship left emotional imprints that followed him into adulthood.

His powerful reflection wasn’t about blame it was about healing, a theme he says continues to define his personal and professional evolution. “You’re always on the journey,” he said, underscoring the ongoing nature of self-awareness.
