Don Jazzy reveals his fear of marriage, citing messy breakups, financial risks, and social media scandals, but remains hopeful about finding true love

Don Jazzy fear of marriage has sparked renewed conversation about love, trust, and fame after the celebrated music producer admitted that his hesitation stems from failed relationships and the fear of financial and emotional risks tied to divorce.

In a recent interview with HabbyFX, the Mavin Records boss shared that despite believing in love—largely because of the strong bond between his late parents—he remains wary of marriage.

“My parents were madly in love before my mom died, and that makes me believe in love… but when you see messy breakups online, it gives fear,” he confessed.

The Dorobucci hitmaker noted that social media scandals and the public collapse of celebrity marriages often fuel his anxiety. He also cited the financial consequences of divorce, especially in countries where laws grant spouses significant portions of assets after separation.

“A man has to lose half of all that he has worked for in his life — those ones that don’t have a prenup, like in America. All those things used to scare me. The money that I have amassed is for my generation,” Don Jazzy said.

Despite his reservations, the 41-year-old producer expressed optimism about finding the “right person” someday, maintaining that he still believes in love and companionship.

“I’m still hopeful. I’ll get married when I meet the right person,” he affirmed.

Don Jazzy was previously married in 2003, but the union ended two years later—a fact he publicly revealed in 2021, explaining that his passion for music at the time made him neglect family life.
