Romano noted that talks between Manchester United and Atalanta have been ongoing for several weeks over a package believed to be worth around €45 million.

He further indicated that the final decision now rests with Manchester United, who must determine whether to proceed with the deal and when to formalise the move.

“Éderson has agreed personal terms with Manchester United and paused all talks with other clubs since last week,” Romano wrote on X.

“Atalanta and Man United have been in talks over €45m package deal for weeks,” he added.

Ederson Manchester United transfer development has intensified speculation around the club’s summer recruitment plans, with midfield reinforcements understood to be a priority for the Premier League side.
