EPL Most Underpaid Players revealed in a report ranking 11 Premier League stars whose performances reportedly exceed their weekly wages

A new report has identified the EPL most underpaid players, highlighting 11 Premier League footballers whose reported weekly wages are considered low compared with their performances, influence and growing market value.

The ranking, compiled using reported salary figures from Capology and published by Planet Football, features several emerging talents and established performers who have impressed despite earning significantly less than many players in similar positions.

Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen tops the list, with the Netherlands international reportedly earning £35,000 per week. The 23-year-old has developed into one of the Premier League’s most reliable goalkeepers and has attracted interest from clubs competing in European competitions.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Djed Spence is also included, with the versatile full-back reportedly earning £40,000 per week. His improved performances have strengthened his reputation after a challenging start to life in north London.

Brentford have the highest representation on the list, with three players featuring among the league’s reported wage bargains. Defender Sepp van den Berg is said to earn £20,000 per week, while fellow centre-back Nathan Collins reportedly receives £30,000 per week.

Brentford winger Kevin Schade ranks as the lowest-paid player on the list, with a reported salary of £10,000 per week despite making important attacking contributions for the club.

Manchester City midfielder Nico O’Reilly also appears after a breakthrough season that established the 21-year-old as one of the league’s promising young players. The academy graduate reportedly earns £30,000 per week, although expectations are that his contract situation could change as his profile continues to rise.

Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba is another notable inclusion. The Cameroon international has become recognised as one of the Premier League’s most impressive defensive midfielders but reportedly earns only £12,500 per week.

Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton features after his rapid development and growing reputation, with his reported £35,000 weekly wage viewed as modest compared with his importance to the team.

Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye completes the group of more established names, reportedly earning £45,000 per week despite being one of the club’s key attacking players.

The list also includes Bournemouth teenager Eli Junior Kroupi, who reportedly earns £20,000 per week, and Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor, whose reported wage stands at £25,000 per week following a promising campaign.
