Fenerbahçe bid for Paul Onuachu as Trabzonspor confirm receiving offers from Turkish and Saudi clubs for the Super Eagles striker

Fenerbahçe have submitted a bid for Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu as the Turkish giants intensify efforts to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.

The Nigeria international has emerged as one of the most sought-after forwards in the Turkish transfer market after an impressive campaign with Trabzonspor, where he finished as the joint-top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig alongside İstanbul Başakşehir forward Eldor Shomurodov.

Fenerbahçe bid for Paul Onuachu comes amid growing speculation over the striker’s future, with several clubs reportedly monitoring his situation during the summer transfer window.

Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal are also reported to have submitted an offer for the 32-year-old, setting up competition for the experienced forward’s signature.

Trabzonspor vice-president Zeyyat Kafkas confirmed that the club has received formal approaches for Onuachu from teams in both the Turkish Super Lig and the Saudi Pro League.

However, Kafkas did not disclose the identities of the clubs involved or provide details of the financial terms under consideration.

Onuachu joined Trabzonspor after establishing himself as one of Nigeria’s most prolific strikers in European football. His consistent goalscoring form has strengthened his reputation and renewed interest from clubs seeking an experienced centre-forward.

The towering striker remains an important member of the Super Eagles squad and has continued to attract attention with his aerial ability, physical presence and clinical finishing.
