Orban claimed the award for his goal in Amedspor’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Beşiktaş, producing a powerful effort from distance in the 13th minute to put the home side ahead.

The 24-year-old forward struck the ball cleanly from outside the box, leaving the goalkeeper with little opportunity to prevent the effort from finding the net.

The goal capped an impressive start to Orban’s season in Turkey after he joined Amedspor on a season-long loan from Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in July.

Orban has quickly established himself as one of the standout attacking players in the Turkish top flight, with seven goals and two assists from his first six league appearances for Besnik Hasi’s side.

His form has also placed him among the league’s leading scorers.

The Nigerian is currently joint-top of the scoring chart alongside Trabzonspor forward Mohamed Salah, underlining the impact he has made since arriving at Amedspor.

Amedspor have also benefited from Orban’s attacking contribution, with the club currently sitting at the top of the league standings.

The September award adds another positive milestone to what has been a productive opening spell for Orban in Turkey.

The forward previously made his name in European football with Norwegian side Stabæk before moving to Belgian club Gent, where his goalscoring performances attracted attention from clubs across Europe.

His career subsequently took him to Ligue 1 with Lyon before Hoffenheim secured his services.

Orban’s loan move to Amedspor has now provided him with an opportunity to play regularly and rebuild momentum after an inconsistent period at club level.

His latest recognition could further strengthen his confidence as Amedspor continue their push at the top of the Turkish league.

Amedspor’s next league fixture is scheduled for October 10, when the club travel to face Gençlerbirliği.

With Orban currently among the division’s leading scorers and Amedspor at the summit, attention will be on whether the Nigerian can maintain his remarkable early-season form when league action resumes.
