Thierry Henry, former captain of Arsenal, has said the Premier League title race is no longer in the hands of Manchester City following the champions’ dramatic 3–3 draw with Everton.

Speaking on Monday Night Football, Henry delivered a blunt assessment of the title run-in, insisting that Arsenal now hold the decisive advantage despite City having a game in hand.

The Henry Premier League title warning comes after a chaotic encounter at Goodison Park, where City surrendered control of the match, allowing Everton to claw back into contention.

“Now it’s back in Arsenal’s hands. It’s not in Man City’s hands anymore,” Henry said.

The result leaves Pep Guardiola’s side five points adrift of Arsenal, intensifying pressure as the season approaches its decisive final stretch.

Henry pointed to defensive lapses and a visible loss of composure as critical factors behind the dropped points, describing the performance as uncharacteristically fragile.

“I saw a bit of nervousness with City because they imploded. They brought Everton back into the game with some mistakes. The game became crazy,” he added.

Despite Arsenal’s strengthened position, Henry cautioned against complacency, urging the North London club to maintain focus and avoid distractions.

“Arsenal can see that Man City dropped two points, but you can’t start to think that, ‘Now, maybe…’ There’s no maybe,” he said.

The former striker stressed that the title race remains firmly dependent on Arsenal’s consistency, rather than City’s setbacks.

“Win your games. Don’t look at City. It’s in your hands,” he said.
