U.S. President Donald Trump suggested that negotiations with Tehran may be underway, raising hopes of possible de-escalation.

Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump said diplomatic engagement was ongoing, though he did not provide specific details about the discussions.

He hinted that recent developments involving Iran were linked to strategic regional issues, including the Strait of Hormuz.

The Strait of Hormuz remains a critical global shipping route for oil exports and has been a major flashpoint in the ongoing crisis.

Despite diplomatic signals, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards reportedly launched new missile strikes targeting Israel and military-related positions across the region.

The renewed attacks come amid continued tensions involving Israel, the United States, and Iran-backed forces in the Middle East.

Reports also indicate drone strikes and air raid alerts across several Gulf countries, including Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan.

Israel has responded with further military operations, targeting what it described as Iranian-linked infrastructure.

Iran, meanwhile, has accused Israel of carrying out strikes on sensitive facilities, including nuclear-related sites.

Global markets briefly reacted to the developments, with oil prices dropping as hopes of possible negotiations emerged.

However, analysts warn that the continued exchange of attacks could undermine diplomatic efforts and further destabilize the region.
