Iran speaker warns US invasion as Ghalibaf accuses Washington of covert plans and vows strong military response

Ghalibaf made the remarks on the 30th day of the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel and Washington, escalating rhetoric in what observers describe as a critical phase of the crisis and reinforcing the Iran speaker warns US invasion narrative.

According to him, the United States is attempting to achieve through diplomacy what it could not accomplish militarily, alleging that overtures for talks mask more aggressive intentions.

“The enemy publicly sends messages of negotiation while secretly planning a ground invasion,” Ghalibaf said, adding that Iranian forces are prepared to confront any such move.

He warned that American troops entering Iranian territory would face severe consequences, asserting that Tehran’s response would extend to regional allies of the United States.

“As long as the Americans seek Iran’s surrender, the answer remains clear: far be it from us to accept humiliation,” he declared.

The statement comes amid renewed diplomatic efforts, with Pakistan hosting talks involving foreign ministers from Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia aimed at de-escalating tensions.

Meanwhile, the deployment of the USS Tripoli, carrying approximately 3,500 US service members, signals continued military positioning in the region as Washington evaluates its next steps.
