Jigan Baba Oja ambassador drop has made headlines after Nollywood actor Jigan Baba Oja lost his ambassador deal with Rods Hotels and Apartments amid controversy surrounding a leaked group chat.

The fallout emerged following social media activist Verydarkman’s release of messages from a private celebrity group chat.

In the chat, Jigan, along with other public figures, was accused of promoting perspectives that appeared to undermine the justice campaign for the late singer Mohbad.

Shortly after the leak, Rods Hotels and Apartments issued a statement terminating the ambassadorial agreement with Jigan.

While we respect due process, we believe in taking a firm stand that reflects our commitment to creating a safe and responsible environment for all.

“In line with our core values of safety, accountability, and guest trust, Rods Apartment officially withdraws its ambassadorial deal with Jigan Baba OJA (JBO),” the statement declared.

While acknowledging ongoing investigations, the hospitality brand emphasized its firm stance:

“This decision comes amid the ongoing investigation and growing public concerns linking JBO to the mysterious death of music star Mohbad.
