Acheampong is reportedly considered part of the same core future structure as key first-team figures, reflecting Chelsea’s commitment to building around young talent.

Despite limited senior experience, the England Under-21 international featured 17 times in the Premier League last season, with nine appearances coming from the bench.

Chelsea’s decision comes amid growing interest from several Premier League clubs, with Arsenal, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace all monitoring his development closely.

Bournemouth are also said to have maintained long-standing interest in the defender.

However, Chelsea’s firm stance is reinforced by his long-term contract, which runs until 2029, giving the club full control over his immediate future.

While it remains unclear whether Acheampong is seeking increased playing time elsewhere, the club’s position signals strong confidence in his development trajectory.
