Laide Bakare rejects Eniola Badmus’ apology, describing it as fake after the actress publicly sought peace amid their ongoing feud

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has rejected Eniola Badmus’ public apology amid the ongoing feud between the two actresses.

Badmus had on Tuesday apologised to Bakare and appealed for peace following renewed attention to their strained relationship.

The apology came after Badmus faced criticism over her reaction when Bakare’s name was mentioned during her interview with media personality Isbae U.

Badmus subsequently addressed the controversy publicly, expressing regret and seeking to end the disagreement between them.

However, Bakare has rejected the gesture, describing the apology as fake.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress simply wrote: “Fake apology.”

Bakare’s response suggests that Badmus’ attempt to settle the dispute has not resolved the issues between the two actresses.

The latest development has once again drawn attention to their long-running disagreement, which has previously played out publicly.

Reports recalls that the feud escalated in April 2025 after Bakare and Badmus were involved in a public confrontation at the premiere of the movie Owambe Thieves.

The incident generated significant attention on social media at the time, with the actresses subsequently remaining at odds.

Badmus’ latest apology had appeared to offer an opportunity for reconciliation, but Bakare’s response indicates that tensions between them remain unresolved.
