The programme combines nutrition awareness with hands-on science experiments to help students understand how proper nourishment supports growth, creativity, and learning.

The first phase of the tour started on February 9, 2026, in schools across Lagos, while the second phase commenced on March 9, 2026, visiting schools in Agege, Oshodi, Surulere, and Ibadan.

Students participate in interactive science experiments facilitated in collaboration with STEM Africa Fest, showing how nutrients from food and beverages like Maltina are absorbed and used by the body.

The programme also provides students with Maltina drinks in 25cl and 50cl PET bottles, designed for easy inclusion in school routines.

Maltina ambassador and media personality, Oluwabukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, joined the tour at United Missionary Comprehensive College in Ibadan, her alma mater, promoting healthy nutrition habits and inspiring students to value nourishment as part of their daily routine.

Elohor Olumide-Awe, Portfolio Manager for Non-Alcoholic Drinks at Nigerian Breweries Plc, explained the tour’s purpose:

The tour illustrates how vitamins and minerals in students’ diets enhance curiosity, thinking, and active learning.

Highlights from each visit are shared on digital platforms, extending the programme’s educational impact.
