Manuel Akanji Galatasaray transfer deal agreed with Man City for £15m, but the defender has yet to decide on his future despite Osimhen’s call

Manuel Akanji Galatasaray transfer talks have taken a major step forward after the Turkish champions reportedly reached an agreement with Manchester City over a £15 million deal.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray have already submitted a contract proposal to Akanji’s representatives, though the Switzerland international has not yet made a final decision about his future.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray star Victor Osimhen has openly encouraged the defender to join him in Istanbul, adding a personal touch to the club’s pursuit.

The Yellow-Reds, who lifted the Turkish Super Lig title last season ahead of rivals Fenerbahçe, are looking to bolster their squad for the new campaign as they aim to defend their crown and make an impact in European competitions.
