Moniepoint, recognised as one of Africa’s largest business payments and digital banking platforms, impressed with its revenue growth, transaction volume, and capital raised across 2023 and 2024.

This accolade comes shortly after the launch of MonieWorld, a digital service tailored for Africans in the international diaspora, with the UK as its inaugural overseas market.

Co-Founder and Group CEO, Tosin Eniolorunda, expressed pride in the recognition, saying: “We are delighted to be honoured once again by CNBC, this time as one of the UK’s top fintech companies. We are Nigerian-founded and proud of our heritage, but we recognise the importance of the UK market as both a strategic bilateral trade partner and a vital remittance corridor for Africa.”

Since its founding in 2015 as TeamApt Inc., Moniepoint has expanded its reach to over 10 million customers.

It now processes more than one billion transactions monthly, worth upwards of $22 billion, offering services ranging from digital banking and credit to payments and business management tools.

Moniepoint’s consistent appearance on prestigious lists — including TIME’s 100 most influential companies, CNBC’s global top 300 fintech firms, and the Financial Times’ Africa’s fastest-growing companies — underscores its relentless growth and innovation.
