MultiChoice Nigeria on Friday announced expanded viewing access for the UEFA Champions League final, confirming that Nigerian football fans will be able to watch the decisive match live across DStv and GOtv platforms, alongside special Open View access designed to broaden audience reach.

The announcement confirms MultiChoice Champions League final broadcast access for subscribers ahead of the showpiece fixture scheduled for Saturday, May 30, with live coverage set to begin at 3:30 p.m. before kick-off at 5:00 p.m.

Under the arrangement, DStv Access subscribers will be able to follow the final on SuperSport Football Finals and SuperSport Football channels, while GOtv Plus customers will also receive access via GOtv Channel 61, ensuring widespread availability of the highly anticipated European final.

Champions League final broadcast by MultiChoice access initiative also includes a build-up schedule featuring classic UEFA Champions League fixtures and highlight reels involving Arsenal FC and Paris Saint-Germain FC, offering fans additional entertainment ahead of the main event.

In a statement, MultiChoice Nigeria Chief Executive Officer Kemi Omotosho described the decision as a way of engaging supporters during a period of heightened excitement, particularly following renewed enthusiasm around Arsenal FC’s domestic resurgence and PSG’s continued European prominence.

Omotosho noted that the special broadcast package is intended to allow more fans to participate in what could be a historic night of football, adding that the company remains committed to expanding access to premium sporting content.

As part of the enhanced coverage, selected viewers will also benefit from Open View access, allowing additional audiences to tune in to the final without subscription barriers, a move expected to further increase viewership across Nigeria.
