The seven-day warning strike, which began Tuesday, July 29, has officially ended.

The decision followed a tense round of negotiations between the union and a federal government delegation led by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof Muhammad Ali Pate.

While the minister had earlier announced the strike’s end on Friday, the union swiftly countered, stating that only its NEC could authorize such a decision.
