New Hampshire Capital unveils new prepaid meter prices for Ikeja Electric customers, offering transparency, affordability, and quality installation services

Prepaid meter prices for Ikeja Electric customers have been updated by New Hampshire Capital, a leading Meter Asset Provider (MAP), as part of its continued efforts to enhance electricity metering in Nigeria.

In a recent statement, the company revealed that the new cost for a single-phase prepaid meter is now N124,000, while the three-phase variant is priced at N215,000.

These updated rates are effective from August 6 to October 6, 2025, and include installation costs to ensure pricing clarity for customers.

“Our mission is to empower consumers with the tools they need to manage their electricity usage effectively. By offering these meters at an accessible price point, we are taking a significant step towards addressing the huge metering gap in the country,” said Oluwakemi Omirin, Chief Operations Officer of New Hampshire Capital.

The company emphasized that these meters are designed for durability and accuracy, helping consumers monitor their electricity usage transparently and efficiently.

With over 190,000 prepaid meters financed and installed under the MAP scheme in collaboration with Ikeja Electric, New Hampshire Capital has cemented its role as a trusted player in the metering ecosystem.

Omirin further encouraged Ikeja Electric customers seeking to obtain their prepaid meters to visit the DisCo’s website and follow the outlined steps under the MAP framework.

“The company’s commitment to quality extends to its installation process, with a team of skilled installers and field engineers ensuring prompt and correct meter deployment,” the statement added.

Customers also benefit from after-sales services including post-installation support and maintenance, which further reinforces the company’s reputation as a customer-focused service provider.
