Jordan rallied from behind to secure a 2-2 draw against Nigeria in an entertaining four-nation tournament clash on Tuesday, as the Super Eagles surrendered a first-half lead after a commanding start.

Jordan took the lead in the 17th minute through Mousa Tamari, who finished clinically from a well-timed assist by Noor Al Rawabdeh to give the hosts an early advantage.

Nigeria responded swiftly, with Moses Simon equalising in the 25th minute after a composed finish inside the penalty area.

The Super Eagles then edged ahead before the interval when Emmanuel Fernandez converted in the 41st minute from a delivery by Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The Nigeria vs Jordan draw reflected a shift in momentum after the break, as the hosts grew into the contest with greater control and sustained pressure.

Jordan’s persistence paid off in the 77th minute when Mohammad Al Aldahod found the equaliser, again assisted by Noor Al Rawabdeh, whose creativity proved decisive on the night.

Nigeria attempted to regain the initiative with late substitutions, introducing Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, and Ademola Lookman. However, the visitors were unable to restore their lead, with Iwobi later sent off in the closing stages.
