The Director of Press at OAGF, Bawa Mokwa, stated in a briefing on Monday that the salary payments commenced following the resolution of a technical issue that had delayed the process. Measures have been implemented to prevent a recurrence of similar disruptions.

In addition, OAGF confirmed that one month’s wage award arrears, part of a three-month backlog, has been approved and paid to eligible workers.

The move comes amid growing complaints from employees over previous delays.
