Arsenal Premier League title prediction rises to 83% after 2-1 win over Chelsea, Opta SuperComputer forecasts top-four and title odds

Arsenal Football Club has strengthened its position at the top of the Premier League following a 2-1 home victory over Chelsea, according to the latest predictions from the Opta SuperComputer.

The match saw William Saliba give the Gunners an early lead, only for Piero Hincapié’s own goal to level the score. Jurrien Timber then headed in Declan Rice’s corner to secure all three points for Mikel Arteta’s side at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal now lead Manchester City by five points, despite having played one more match. The Opta SuperComputer assigns Arsenal an 83.26% chance of winning the league, compared with 16.6% for Manchester City.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa’s 2-0 defeat to Wolves reduced their title chances to just 0.08%, while Manchester United’s resurgence grants them a 0.02% probability of claiming the championship.

The prediction model also reinforces Arsenal’s likelihood of finishing in the top four, with Arteta’s team demonstrating both resilience and consistency as the season enters its decisive phase.
