The legislators, all elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, made the declaration during a briefing held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists secretariat in Oke Ilewo, Abeokuta, on Wednesday.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the Majority Leader of the Assembly, Sheriff Abiodun, said the endorsement reflects confidence in the president’s economic and infrastructural policies.

Sheriff Abiodun stated that the lawmakers were reaffirming an earlier endorsement by the Ogun State chapter of the APC, citing what he described as bold reforms and significant infrastructure development under Tinubu’s administration.

The lawmakers said the president’s policies have contributed to economic stabilisation, fiscal restructuring and expanded road networks across key economic corridors, positioning him for a second term to consolidate these gains.

Beyond the presidency, the legislators also declared support for the 2027 governorship ambition of Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.

They described Solomon Adeola as an experienced legislator with a record of impactful contributions, highlighting his roles in key committees and advocacy for development projects within and beyond Ogun State.

They stated that Dapo Abiodun remains well-positioned to contribute to national development at a higher level, although no specific office was mentioned.
