A meeting in Osogbo on Thursday brought together top political figures, including legislators, party executives, and local government leaders. The caucus passed a vote of confidence in Governor Adeleke, commending his performance and leadership.

Speaking on behalf of the governor, Malam Olawale Rasheed said, “The governor is still consulting widely, but the party remains solidly behind him.”

In a communiqué issued after the meeting, the PDP caucus urged Governor Adeleke to continue engaging with stakeholders both within Osun and at the national level.

Though the governor has not confirmed or denied defection rumours, the caucus made its stance clear. It stated it would follow Adeleke wherever he decides to go, highlighting strong internal unity.

The session also included members of the national and state assemblies, the executive council, the Elders Caucus, and the state ALGON leadership. Their presence signalled broad institutional support.
