PSG receive a triple injury boost as Achraf Hakimi returns to training ahead of their Champions League final clash with Arsenal

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have received a significant triple injury boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League final clash with Arsenal later this month.

The PSG injury boost Champions League final news comes after the French champions secured their place in the final with a victory over Bayern Munich in the semi-final.

Luis Enrique’s side will face Arsenal in the final on May 30 in Budapest, in what is expected to be a high-stakes European showdown.

PSG confirmed on Tuesday that defender Achraf Hakimi has returned to training after recovering from a thigh injury sustained during the first leg of the semi-final against Bayern Munich.

The club also revealed that Lucas Chevalier and Quentin Ndjantou have resumed individual training sessions as they continue their recovery programmes.

“Achraf Hakimi, Lucas Chevalier and Quentin Ndjantou are training individually outdoors,” the club said in a statement on its official website.

The return of key players is a timely boost for PSG as they intensify preparations for the final against Arsenal at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest.
