Nigerian club Ranchers Bees FC have extended the contract of defender Sulaiman Umar Gamagira until 2028, the club confirmed on Wednesday in a move that underscores his growing importance within the squad.

Gamagira signs new deal with Ranchers Bees comes after an impressive campaign in which the Kaduna-based side secured promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), with Gamagira widely regarded as one of the team’s standout performers.

Gamagira played a key role in Ranchers Bees’ successful run in the 2025–26 Nigeria National League (NNL) Super Four playoff tournament, where the club finished as second runners-up to seal their elevation to the top flight.

His consistency and defensive contributions throughout the season were central to the team’s promotion push, earning him recognition beyond club level.

The defender’s strong performances also led to his invitation to the Flying Eagles setup for the WAFU B championship, further highlighting his rapid rise in Nigerian football circles.
