Ranchers Bees NPFL return confirmed after 18 years as Kaduna club celebrates promotion and calls it a rebirth of legacy

Nigeria National League side Ranchers Bees have marked their long-awaited return to the Nigeria Premier Football League as a “rebirth of a legacy” following a successful 2025–26 season campaign.

Ranchers Bees Make NPFL Comeback which was confirmed after the Kaduna-based club finished top of the NNL Conference D table with 20 points, sealing promotion back to the top flight for the first time in 18 years.

In an official statement released on Thursday, the club described the achievement as more than just a sporting milestone, calling it the result of sustained belief, vision and commitment since its revival in August 2025.

According to the club, the journey back to the NPFL has been driven by renewed passion and a collective effort to restore its historic identity in Nigerian football.

The statement described the promotion as a powerful moment of renewal, signalling the start of a new chapter for the once-prominent side.

Despite securing promotion, Ranchers Bees will still compete in the Nigeria National League Super Four tournament alongside Sporting Lagos, Doma United and Inter Lagos to determine the overall champion of the 2025–26 season.

The tournament is scheduled to take place in Ikenne next weekend, where the newly promoted side will aim to cap their resurgence with silverware.
