Groves insisted that Havertz offers superior tactical synergy with teammates, particularly in linking play and supporting Arsenal’s pressing structure during high-intensity matches.

Reflecting on Arsenal’s recent performance against Manchester City, Groves highlighted the German forward’s contribution to fluid attacking transitions, noting his ability to hold up play and connect long passes effectively.

He pointed to a moment involving goalkeeper David Raya’s quick distribution to Havertz, describing it as an example of the forward’s control and intelligent movement in advanced positions.

Groves acknowledged Gyökeres’ attacking qualities and work rate, praising his attitude and noting that the striker has already scored 18 goals since joining the squad.

However, he stressed that the Swedish forward is still adapting to Arsenal’s system and may need more time to fully integrate into the team’s tactical demands.
