The club has received positive technical reports about Neto, who currently plays for Chelsea F.C..

Neto, 26, joined Chelsea from Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. in 2024 for around £54 million.

The Portuguese winger has since become one of the club’s most consistent performers. His ability to play on both wings is believed to appeal to Barcelona manager Hansi Flick.

Neto is also represented by super agent Jorge Mendes, who has a long-standing relationship with the Spanish club.

Rashford’s long-term future at Barcelona could also depend on the club’s presidential election scheduled for March 15.

Current president Joan Laporta reportedly supports signing the England forward permanently if he wins another term.
