Tesla profits skyrocket in Q3 2025, beating forecasts and marking the company’s most profitable quarter to date

Tesla profits surged in Q3 2025, delivering the electric vehicle giant its most profitable quarter on record, according to financial results released Tuesday.

Revenue climbed 19% year-over-year, fueled by rising sales of the Model Y and Cybertruck.

Elon Musk called the results “a breakthrough moment” in the company’s earnings call.

“We’re proving that sustainable energy can be not only scalable, but also highly profitable,” he said.

Wall Street reacted swiftly, with Tesla shares climbing 7% in after-hours trading.

Market analysts called the performance a “game-changer,” noting Tesla’s ability to maintain momentum despite economic headwinds and growing competition in the EV space.

With operating margins also improving, Tesla profits now represent a benchmark for the rest of the industry.

Investors are particularly optimistic about future expansion plans, including upcoming factory openings in India and South America.
